FES Cycling Case Study Three

Marc is a 46-year-old male whose spinal injury was due to a car accident some 8 years ago.

Marc uses the RehaMove for Arms and Legs with Smart Card Option. Marc was very keen on exercise and fitness before his accident and specialised in weightlifting.

His main reasons for adopting the RehaMove system were three fold –
improved fitness, better health and for the challenge.

Marc exercises every couple of days after getting up and trains for between 40 and 60 minutes per session; this is actually more than he expected before purchasing a system.

In In terms of getting used to the system, Marc found it OK to learn but feels it needs to be simpler to understand. In the time since using the system, Marc has noticed improved muscle tone.
